Isn't it ironic?

Many times I think that there's some things in Copenhagen that are ironic. And now that I'm back home this ironic things appear like more exagerated in my mind. This gap between two worlds is getting bigger everyday when I remember my last days in Denmark.

And remembering this ironic stuff, an old song came to my mind and I wanted to share it. Its easy, everybody have this feelings sometimes. Exactly when there's 10 thousand spoons when all you need is a knife.

Here there's a list of this strange things in Copenhagen that mark the difference with my life in Spain. This is the surrealistic, ironic world of Erasmus in Denmark because:

1. The beer is cheaper than the water in the supermarket.
2. There's a brazilian carnival in Copenhagen in May.
3. There's 6 hours of light per day in winter, and 4 hours of night in summer.
4. There's girls in top less in the public parks when it's sunny.
5.There isn't a concrete word in Danish to say "please".
6. Denmark is basically a lot of islands but is almost impossible to buy fish.
7. There's 3 times more pigs than people in Denmark but is not possible to find ham.
8. In winter, if one wakes up after 3 o clock in the afternoon is not gonna see the sun, and if one goes party in summer, is not gonna go back home in nightlight.
9. The life of a bike is be stolen from somebody who stole it before.
10. That being in Denmark 6 months we don't have any Danish friend.
11. That is cheaper to rent a car than to go by train.
12. That one have to queue to take a picture of the little mermaid.
13. We feel save under an umbrella.
14. That there's cows in the street. It's a particular San Fermín.
16. Danish people have rules for EVERYTHING.
15. THAT I'M ALWAYS MAKING LISTS.

16. QUE NO PARO DE HACER LISTAS.

the time is over

How to say goodbye to all this? Is better just to say see you soon. This is my last week in Denmark. I discovered unknown colours, in the Lousiania modern art museum.
I also discovered unknown flavours, eating sushi in the Rosenborg garden a windy day, or having mint tea with orange cookies.
And I rediscovered new-old sensations, having many parties under a umbrella again, going to the airport many times again, going to the round tower botellon many times again, eating ice cream with a blanket in my shoulders and arriving home completely wet again. I have to say goodbye at all this. Is gonna be difficult.
Anyways, many times again: THANKS.

After the fire, ice.
Once I wrote that in Copenhagen seems that the world runs in a strange way. Once I wrote that in Denmark something is upside down.
It seems so, because we are in July and I wear snow boots, coat and scarf when I go to the street, and in April I was swimming in the North sea.
But if this is not enough, if we are still missing the winter time, if we have too much daily light and the rain doens't bring back the winter memories, we have a place where to go.

Once I wrote that I'm closing the circle, it seems that all come back to the beginning, and I'm doing the same, going to the same places, with the same people and having a lot of deja vú. And I was missing something, the perfect way to say goodbye to this country. Go back to the frozen memories of the first days in Denmark.

There's a place where all this is possible, and is called Ice bar. An iglú in the heart of Copenhagen, where one can feel again the skin going blue, the nose loosing control, the fingers loosing feeling, and stick the lips in a glass made of ice or stick the tonge in the wall, as in a silly movie once I watched.
A blue light shines through the ice walls and give a magic light to the scene, while we feel like Otto and Anna in the poles, but in a futurist version mixed with the customes of Star Trek.
If one day, in summer time, you thought about go to live inside the fridge, I can tell you how do you feel inside. If you want to know how an ice cream feels, I can tell you.
I was a message inside a vodka bottle, I was the ice cube in a water melon cocktail.
Absolutly, such a nice experience, but I'm outside of this world. I wanted to feel like a inuit, but it was more like to be in a 5 stars fridge, a posh skimo from the future.
