Des-con-gé-la-te (Ice bar Copenhagen)

After the fire, ice.
Once I wrote that in Copenhagen seems that the world runs in a strange way. Once I wrote that in Denmark something is upside down.
It seems so, because we are in July and I wear snow boots, coat and scarf when I go to the street, and in April I was swimming in the North sea.
But if this is not enough, if we are still missing the winter time, if we have too much daily light and the rain doens't bring back the winter memories, we have a place where to go.

Once I wrote that I'm closing the circle, it seems that all come back to the beginning, and I'm doing the same, going to the same places, with the same people and having a lot of deja vú. And I was missing something, the perfect way to say goodbye to this country. Go back to the frozen memories of the first days in Denmark.

There's a place where all this is possible, and is called Ice bar. An iglú in the heart of Copenhagen, where one can feel again the skin going blue, the nose loosing control, the fingers loosing feeling, and stick the lips in a glass made of ice or stick the tonge in the wall, as in a silly movie once I watched.
A blue light shines through the ice walls and give a magic light to the scene, while we feel like Otto and Anna in the poles, but in a futurist version mixed with the customes of Star Trek.
If one day, in summer time, you thought about go to live inside the fridge, I can tell you how do you feel inside. If you want to know how an ice cream feels, I can tell you.
I was a message inside a vodka bottle, I was the ice cube in a water melon cocktail.
Absolutly, such a nice experience, but I'm outside of this world. I wanted to feel like a inuit, but it was more like to be in a 5 stars fridge, a posh skimo from the future.

London

Only one word: FANTASTIC. London is fantastic, from all points of view. From Denmark, London doesn't seem to be that far but it took almost 10 hours and all the transports of the universe to get there. Bus, boat, plane, train... And it was worthy.
It was worthy because sometimes we cross people on our life way and we think that we won't see them again, but suddenly, one day we have the chance to see them again and recover old memories, that we already put in a box.
So, after 3 years and a lot of emails from all the sides of the world, I met Sebastian again but only for less than one day. Who knows if we will coincide again somewhere. I hope so.
Being an erasmus, if something I've learnt is that to wish something is enough to get it, so I'll cros my eyes and I will wish to see him again, as I will wish to see again all this special people I met here.
I will wish to see Irene, Joerg, Morgane, Julie, Michael, Petja... and I will wish to see Simon again, because only him have this contagious positivity, that makes you smile in front of everything, smile to the grey sky, smile to the rain, smile to the problems.
All the problems seem nothing with Simon by your side, because he always have a rain coat to save yourself from the storm, a kite to make your imagination fly, a mushroom to make you laugh or a box of liquorices.
It seems that all Simons have the same life philosophy, because another Simon I met in Denmark told me something that I never forget: "Smile and the world will smile back"

So, let's have Simon mood the rest of the days I will be here. I will remember this trip with a smile in my face always, even though is impossible to find a tourism office, a trash can or a beer after 12 in London.
I will look left, I will mind the gap, and I will have a big whim everyday in my life: go to London again, and see you again.

Quien sabe si volveré a verlo otra vez.
Volver a Londres. Volver a veros. ]
